Chairman’s Announcement

 

It is with deep regret that the Parish Council must report the death of Councillor Mrs Niki Oakes. She served on the Council since October 2001 and was a knowledgeable and well-respected Member. She will be sadly missed for her strong sense of humour and valuable contribution to the Highways, Planning and Street Lighting, Burial Grounds and Recreation Grounds and Properties Committees and the Rural Transport Sub-Committee. 

She served on the Sports and Leisure and High Street Committees of the Heathfield Partnership, was a Trustee of the Heathfield Charities and was an Assistant Emergency Co-ordinator for the Parish.
