You may already have heard—but if not, we’re excited to let you know about the fantastic community events coming up to celebrate VE day!

Join us on Saturday, 3rd May, from 1pm–7pm at Heathfield Community Centre as we mark 80 years since Victory in Europe. This special day is both a celebration of peace and a tribute to those who bravely served in the Second World War.

Expect a fun-filled day for all ages, with:

🎠 Vintage rides
🎨 Face painting
🎶 Live music all day
🚗 Vintage vehicles
🐶 A dog show
🛍️ Stalls
🎉 Children’s activities and more!

FREE ENTRY

Come along to All Saints Church, Old Heathfield on Thursday 8th May at 7:00pm for a Civic Service led by Rev. Ann Pollington. Following the service, all are invited to join the Heathfield and District Bonfire Society for the laying of tributes and the lighting of the beacon at Cade Street Recreation Ground at 9:30pm

From Friday 9th to Sunday 11th May, All Saints Church will host a VE80 Exhibition, open daily. Enjoy engaging ‘Hands on History’ presentations, suitable for all ages.
