Parish Survey

Please read the following regarding the recent Parish Survey which was carried out

Heathfield and Waldron Parish Council has just successfully completed an on-line consultation with Parishioners, and with organisations working in the Parish, from the Bonfire Society to the Drama Club, Football and Bridge Clubs, from the Silver Band to the British Legion, to collect views and suggestions for our new Parish Plan.

We’d like to thank all of you who filled in the consultation. It’s very important that we hear what you have to say. We were really pleased that you said lots of nice things about our hard work on sports pitches, flower displays and war memorials. Some things we don’t control, like Planning, but our work to influence the planning authority is clearly important to you.

We know we’re not perfect, so we also take on your critical feedback in a constructive way, to give us pointers on what we need to improve in the coming years. CCTV for example is now being rolled out, although we have to manage costs with care.

We need to communicate better and more often with you, and this short update is the beginning of our growing efforts to let you know what’s happening, and ask you what you think, as our plans unfold.

We hope that our completed Parish Plan containing your ideas will soon be up on the website for you to read. Please check our office in Heathfield High Street, our website www.hwpc.org.uk and our noticeboards now and then, and let us know (e-mail, phone etc) how you feel about what we’re doing.
